The Frost Mage was a commission piece for a wow character. It was fun trying to incorporate the misc. WoW gear and tabard. I would love to have spent more time fixing the hands as well as rendering the staff of weirdness.
What I love most about the image is the jovial nature and smile the character has. When I look at the image I’m reminded of the fun aspect of playing video games, where as a lot of illustrations try to take a game like WoW to a melodramatic extreme. This image just conveys the players attitude more than the in game reality of situations.
Check out my newest work in the Commissions Section. I have started taking on Commissions of Characters, and so far I am having a lot of fun!
