I have been making the pages for my website 1024×768. Was the 800×640 your choice or the project specs?

My choice, there are so many people with different resolution monitors out there, it can be hard to decided. But you have to remember a lot of people with large monitors dont use the whole view space for browsing, and further the toolbars and options of the browser itself actually takes up a lot of room.

neagative, not my choice. I plan for at least 1400×900 background space for webpages, and 1024×796 functioning space.
